Cimarron Link High School Scholarship

Cimarron Link is awarding scholarships to graduating seniors within the project area. A $1,000 scholarship is available for students located within the project area (districts listed below) who will be attending a two- or four-year college, or post-secondary education. The student must be a graduating senior who is pursuing an agriculture or STEM-related field.

The scholarship is for the student’s educational expenses when attending any college, vocational or technical school of the student’s choice.

School districts include: Agra, Balko, Beaver, Bristow, Canton, Cimarron, Covington-Douglas, Coyle, Crescent, Cushing, Depew, Drummond, Fairview, Fargo, Goodwell, Guymon, Hardesty, Hennessey, Kellyville, Laverne, Mounds, Mulhall-Orlando, Okeene, Optima, Perkins-Tyron, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, Ripley, Seiling, Sharon-Mutual, Stroud, Texhoma, Waukomis, Woodward

Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:

• Plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or post-secondary education to pursue an education in agriculture or STEM-related field
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
• Have a minimum ACT composite score of 20
• Be a high school senior at an eligible school district

Additional consideration will be given to applicants who provide a letter of reference from a high school teacher or administrator.

Scholarship Payment
Recipients will receive $1,000, distributed after submittal of college enrollment form.

Timeline
Scholarship applications are available online now and will close on March 31, 2025 at 5pm CST. Form and letter of reference must be received by that date. All scholarship recipients will be notified before the end of the school year.
